Overview

ParkSense AI is a fanless 12 cm edge box that connects to the CCTV cameras you already have and turns them into a real-time parking occupancy and enforcement system. It detects and tracks vehicles, maps every space, reads plates where permitted, and flags overstays and unauthorised parking — all on-device.

  • Works with existing CCTV over RTSP — 8–16 cameras per box
  • Space-level occupancy mapping and overstay alerts in real time
  • Licence plate recognition (LPR) with on-device processing
  • Fanless 12 × 12 × 4 cm box, 10–15 W, Hailo-8L or Orin Nano

The problem

Most car parks at apartments, hotels, offices and malls have cameras but no idea which spaces are free, who is overstaying or who should not be there. Ground sensors cost $150–300 per bay to install and maintain, manual patrols are slow, and drivers waste time circling. Revenue leaks through overstays and unpaid parking.

Use cases

Real-time occupancy

Show live free-space counts per level or zone on signage, apps and dashboards.

Overstay detection

Track how long each vehicle has been in a bay and alert staff when time limits are exceeded.

Unauthorised parking

Flag vehicles in reserved, EV-charging, accessible or residents-only bays using plate allow-lists.

Apartment and campus permits

Automate resident and visitor permits with plate-based access lists instead of stickers.

Hotel and mall operations

Understand peak demand, dwell time and turnover to price and staff parking better.

Airport and logistics yards

Monitor staff, short-stay and truck-waiting areas for congestion and misuse.

How it works

  1. 1

    Connect cameras

Plug ParkSense into your network and add existing IP cameras by RTSP; no new cameras or ground sensors needed.

  2. 2

    Map spaces

Draw or auto-detect bays and zones once in the setup wizard.

  3. 3

    Detect and track

On-device models detect vehicles, track them across frames and read plates where enabled.

  4. 4

    Alert

Overstays and violations trigger alerts to staff by app, email, webhook or signage within seconds.

  5. 5

    Report

The dashboard shows live occupancy, history, turnover and violation reports per site.

In the app

ParkSense Console

The ParkSense dashboard shows a live map of every bay, alerts and analytics across all your sites, with a staff mobile app for enforcement.

  • Live bay-level occupancy map
  • Overstay and violation alerts
  • Plate allow-lists and visitor permits
  • Turnover and dwell-time analytics
  • Multi-site management
  • Role-based access and audit log

ParkSense AI FAQ

General FAQ
What does the 2027 Pilot Program cost?

Applying is free and carries no obligation. When you are ready, you can book a 30-day paid pilot for $99. We connect an edge box to up to 8 of your existing cameras and send you an occupancy and overstay report at the end. The fee is fully refundable until your pilot hardware is installed, and it is credited in full to your first invoice if you continue.

Will it work with my existing cameras?

In most cases, yes. ParkSense works with IP cameras that provide an RTSP or ONVIF stream. During pilot onboarding we review your camera positions and suggest adjustments if a bay is not visible.

Is my data processed on the device?

Yes. Video is analysed on the box and never streamed to the cloud. Only events and metadata (for example occupancy counts, or plate reads where you enable LPR) are sent to the dashboard. Plate retention is configurable to meet local privacy rules.

How is it installed?

Mount the box near your NVR or network switch, connect power and Ethernet, and add cameras in the web setup wizard. A typical site is configured in under two hours.

What connectivity does it need?

A local network connection to your cameras and an internet uplink for the dashboard — Ethernet, Wi-Fi or the optional 4G module. If the internet drops, the box keeps working and syncs later.

Is ParkSense AI available now?

ParkSense AI is in development. Specifications shown are target specifications and may change as we complete engineering validation. We are targeting a Q2 2027 ship window and will email reservation holders with every major milestone.

What warranty will it come with?

We are planning a 2-year limited hardware warranty covering manufacturing defects, with advance replacement for pilot and business customers. Final warranty terms will be published before shipping begins.
