    The whole CornholeCam

Ceiling cameras look down at each cornhole board. The hub finds every bag, scores each round and shows it on the bar TV.

6 key parts, one program, and your phone

What it is

Camera heads over cornhole boards, linked to a small venue computer that keeps score.

What it does

  • Scores every round automatically
  • Shows the score on bar TVs
  • Saves a replay of every throw
  • Feeds a live stream overlay

Who it's for

Bars, breweries and venues running cornhole leagues, and local league directors.

How the parts connect

CornholeCam, wired up

Every part, what links it to the brain, and how the data reaches your phone. A solid line is a cable; a dashed line is a radio link.

What you see in the app

One screen for each job CornholeCam does.

  • Live scoringIt is league night on lane 2. The camera over each board scores every bag and the bar TV shows the round in about a second.

  • Close callsA bag hangs off the front edge of the board. The camera cannot see the floor, so it asks the players to call it.

  • ReplaysOn a 3-pointer the hub cuts a 6-second clip and plays it on the bar TV and the stream overlay.

  • League statsAt the end of the game each player scans the QR and gets their points per round and best clips, ready for the standings.

App screens with sample data. The interface is in development.

    Lab updates for CornholeCam

    All lab updates
    1. LatestOne basketball product per gym, as the smart backboard itself.
      • Still part of CourtOne, now redesigned as a smart backboard: https://iemilabs.com/products/courtone/

See it in 3DFull research and design

    2. Gyms and indoor courts need one product per court, not several kits and apps.
      • Folded into CourtOne: see https://iemilabs.com/products/courtone/

See it in 3DFull research and design

    3. A rec centre, YMCA or sportsplex gym is booked by the hour for pickleball, basketball shooting, cornhole leagues and coaching on the same lined floor (Pacific Beach and Fairfax County gym schedules; indoor cornhole leagues in Indianola, Kent County and St. Charles Parish). Each job has its own camera system today: PlayReplay about $3,200 per court a year, Noah $1,500 a basket plus $1,200 a year, Hudl cameras leased yearly.
      • Combined into CourtCam (https://iemilabs.com/products/courtcam/); CornholeCam itself is unchanged

    CornholeCam FAQ

    General FAQ
    Is CornholeCam available?

No. CornholeCam is a concept in the in-house design and testing stage. It is designed on paper and in CAD, but nothing has been built, printed or measured, and all accuracy and timing figures are targets.

Can it see whether a bag touches the ground?

Not from above on the front edge. When a bag hangs far over the front edge, CornholeCam asks for one tap instead of guessing, and it never shows a guessed score as final.

Is it for sanctioned pro events?

No. It is designed for bar and league play. Officiating ACL-sanctioned pro events, foot-foul detection and betting features are not goals.

Will patrons be filmed or streamed?

Cameras look down at the boards, with no audio and no face recognition. Streaming is off by default per lane, a LIVE badge shows when it is on, and the kit includes signage.
