The AirMate IR app
Start on All rooms: one compact AirMate per AC, every room controlled from one screen. Then use the room controls next to the app (below it on a phone) on the living room: walk in, sit still, fall asleep, leave. Watch how AirMate decides when a room is really empty, and why it never switches off when it isn't sure.
All rooms · 4 AirMates
one AirMate per ACEach AirMate decides on its own room locally, so rooms keep working if the internet drops. The app is where you see and control them together.

Comfort rules
Set up your AC
1 · Brand
2 · Test
Point AirMate at the AC and send a test command.
Did your AC beep?
3 · Place it
On the wall below or beside the AC (keyhole slots) or on its small stand, 1–2 m high, facing the room. Avoid pointing at fans or curtains.
4 · Add the next AC
One compact AirMate per AC. Each new one joins this home and appears in All rooms.
Simulate the room
One second here is one minute in the room. The app on the left reacts using the same rules as our prototype firmware.
The rules it is running
- Never off when unsure. A still target with low radar energy counts as a person.
- Empty means empty for a while. The AC turns off only after the room has been empty for your chosen delay (15 minutes by default, 60 at night).
- Sleep is presence. Breathing-level still energy at night never triggers auto-off.
- Heat safety. If AirMate turned the AC off and the room passes your safe maximum while anyone might be there, cooling comes back on.
- Welcome back. When someone returns, AirMate restores the mode and temperature you had.
Prototype behaviour with simulated radar data. Real thresholds come from the presence data we collect in 10+ rooms during the prototype stage; savings numbers here are illustrative.
